My Mother Annie Berrisford Ball sailed to Montreal Canada from Liverpool on the Laurentic arriving 14 Aug 1931.
The SS Laurentic was built in Belfast in 1927 for the White Star Line. On 3 Nov 1940 while operating as HMS Laurentic she was torpedoed and sunk while responding to a distress message from the SS Casanare.
